Popping in for the first time...
Hiiii,
Just wanted to sort of introduce myself. I've been on other boards here and there, but have been MIA from the bump since things got rough with my soon to be ex-husband during my second pregnancy. Considering the baby from that pregnancy is now a bubbly 15month old girl, it's been a while!
Things have gotten tough(er) with the divorce recently, and I've been trying to reach out and find some sort of support group where people may be or may have gone through somewhat similar situations, or even just more accurately know/understand what I am going through. I have a great support group of 90+ moms who all had babies due the same month as my 15month old, but most (and by most I mean all but 1 or 2) have no idea what it's like to be in the situation I am in now, and I don't expect them to listen to my struggles on a daily basis.
All of that being said - my name is Rachel, and I have 2 daughters, Avea (will be 3 in May) and Teagan (15months.) I'm in the middle of a messy, MESSY divorce, that seemingly will never end. I was a SAHM, so now I'm struggling to find work, work from home writing for an online company while seeking regular employment, attend college in the evenings, and continue to raise my daughters 95% of the time.
June will mark 1 year since filing for divorce, and 2 years since "knowing" that our relationship was over with. It's been a long 2 years.
So, I hope to find the support I need here, and hopefully be able to support other mamas in need as well.
