Team Green Birth Story!

Well it was the real deal! It's a girl!! We welcomed Daley Lynn to our lives Wednesday April 3rd at 8:57 pm. She was 8lbs and 20 1/4 inches, born at 38w4d. Daley is my Hs middle name and Lynn is mine!
It started Wedneday when I posted about possibly losing my plug or having show. I labored at home until 3 pm when we started our 1.5 hr drive to the hospital. We got to LD about 5 pm and I was already 5 to 6 cm. They admitted me right away and I received the epidural around 7 pm. They broke my water shortly after and things progressed in a hurry! I only pushed for 11 minutes but I forgot to use my top up button on the epi and sure felt that crowning!
We are still in hospital. Daley was tongue tied so that has been corrected and makes breast feeding much easier. She also has some jaundice so we are spending one more night under the lights. I am ready to get home and see my little boy!! I sure miss him being gone this many nights!
