Anyone else have a LO who is obsessed with a certain color?

Oh boy, I forgot how much fun it is when they learn their colors! The only color name DS knew was green, so you'd say, "What color is this?" and he'd always say "green." But, now he knows blue. And not just its name but can identify blue. (Well, royal blue. To him, powder blue, aqua blue, etc. are NOT BLUE.) I have heard, "I want bluuuuuueeee!" more times in the last week than ever, and I'm already sick of it. We only have one freakin' blue cup and one blue bowl (blue by his standards, that is). Navy blue pants? Nope, "I want bluuuuuue!" and a howl and a tantrum.

Sheesh. Gotta work on other colors now. Wink

Yes. Everything is white. I try to show her other colors and have her repeat me, but she loves pointing out everything that is "white", even if it isn't.

Haha isn't it strange? We're big fans of yellow (or "lello") but she doesn't mind other colors too. She's great with color recognition but always prefers yellow whenever possible.
