How much milk?

DS usually has a few ounces of milk in his sippy with breakfast.  During the day he always has a sippy with water available & night he takes about 8 ounces of milk in a bottle.  Is that enough milk or should I start offering with every meal?  Eventually I will get rid of the nightime bottle but it makes me feel better to know he is getting those 8 oz.  What do you give?

    "Just milk" he gets about 12-18oz a day...but he eats other dairy throughout the day-cheese and yogurt.

    Audra drinks about 4oz of milk in her sippy cup with every meal. She also has other dairy during the day.

    BFP #1 6-8-11 EDD 2-19-12. DD born 2-3-12 via induction due to pre-e.

    I think it should be around 12-16 ounces minimum (as per pedi's suggestion) with 24 ounce max. 

     

    If I let my Austin, he would drink an entire gallon in a day. He LOVES milk.

    Our doc. Said at least 16 ounces of milk a day and then whatever "extra" calcium rich foods she would eat.
