Convertible Car Seat Question

Possibly a silly question, but thank you in advance for your responses:

My husband and I currently have 2 bases and 1 Chicco car seat. When we switch over to a convertible car seat, do we buy 2 new car seats and 2 new bases? We both drive her around a lot, seperately - sometimes he drops her off at daycare and I pick her up or vice versa. It is easy with the car seat b/c we just leave it at the school, but I think it is going to get more complicated with a convertible car seat.

Also - please recommend your convertible car seat. I have been told Britax is the way to go?? Thank you!

    You'll realistically need a car seat for each car. Convertible seats don't have bases.

    2 carseats

    Best seat is one that fits your budget, your car, and your child. I'd look over at carseat.org and or Facebook group carseats for the Littles.

    There are convertible seats w/ bases but are super expensive. I'd just get 2 seats.  We're currently looking right now, too.  LO is SUPER long!
