Ladies with noticeable bumps

Do you feel like people stare at you more now that you are pregnant? Maybe I'm just being paranoid but I feel like both women and men stare at me and my belly all the time. I certainly never got this much attention before I was KU. We were just at Dunkin Donuts this morning and even DH noticed it too. What is so fascinating about a pregnant lady, it's not like it's an unusual occurrence. Or maybe I just live in a town of crazy people that like to stare.

FWIW- I noticed this when I was pregnant with DS but I just assumed it was people being all judgey because I was young(er) and unmarried... nope even now, older and with a wedding ring on I still notice the stares.

I always felt that way when I was pregnant with #1. It is so strange. Its like people look right to your belly and then your eyes and then your hand for a ring....strange. I always felt on display.

For the first few months I think people were trying to decipher if I was fat or possibly pregnant. Now it's more noticeable that I'm pregnant and I've actually had strangers just smile at me which is weird but nice.

I haven't noticed it too much yet, maybe a couple of people. But I do know that when we were TTC I use to catch myself staring at pregnant ladies. I don't know, I think people just have a fascination with babies growing in mom's bellies ..

I'm not showing much so I'm not getting too many looks yet, but when I was pregnant with DS I got all kinds of looks when I was at the gym. I don't know if I made people nervous or what.

I would say so, but I honestly think I probably look at pregnant women when I see them. I always think when I see one how weird it is that I really don't see that many pregnant women at all! There is just something special about pregnant women I'd say! <b

I notice the staring but DH is more aware of it than me. I notice more belly glances from people who know. They try to be discreet, but I catch them often. Sadly for me, i got a lot of this before i was pregnant. That sucked.

People are just naturally drawn to pregnant women. I know I'll glance at once if I see it. NBD. I don't stare obnoxiously or anything, but just a look to notice that she's pregnant.
