So my mom will be sending out the invites soon and I was wondering what the etiquette is for multiple registries. I'm at Amazon and BRU but really I just have stuff at BRU for my older family that won't be using a computer. There isn't enough on there for, say, everyone to buy off of and most of the things that I want are on Amazon.
Is there a way to designate a first and secondary registry? Should I just have her leave it blank and let people call so, for example, Aunt Sue who is 65 gets BRU but my SIL gets Amazon?
I know that most people won't buy off the registries but I figure it's worth a shot =/
Also. I'm doing CD and am wondering if there is any polite way to tell people if they buy me sposies I will not use them. I'm not sure which is more rude... telling people how to spend their money or not using something that was gifted to me.
Re: invite etiquette
I only had BRU listed on my invitation and then in the notes section for BRU I wrote a note saying that we also had registries at BBB, Target and Amazon if those were more convenient or feel free to be creative and go off registry.
