Or at least it feels that way! My OB always runs a minimum of an hour behind schedule, and they frequently want to do an ultrasound the same day as my OB appointment. Last time, I arrived at 8 am for my u/s, had the u/s around 9, saw the OB around 11 and left at 11:15.

I was there for an hour and 45 mins today, and only about 7 mins were actually with the OB!

Next week, they want me to be there for 10, and booked me for another appointment at 11:15.. so I will have to leave work at 9:30, and will probably not get back till 2, at the earliest!

Sorry for the vent, but as a lawyer working towards billable hour targets, this kind of inefficiency is driving me bonkers!! (I'm back at work tonight, trying to make up for this afternoon's lost time)

This would drive me crazy!!! Thankfully my OB is almost always on time. Although my last 2 appts I had to wait a bit, but nothing like you!! In all 3 of my pgs my OB has never had to run out to deliver another baby either, which is odd. She had 2 patients

I would so not be okay with that! My doctor's office is rarely more than 15 minutes behind and if she happens to be occupied with a delivery and things are going to be really far behind they either give you a pager (like at a restaurant) so you can

I would be irrate. I typically try for morning appointments so their are more apt to be on time, but I've never had to wait more than 10-15 minutes. In my last pregnancy, I was literally back in my car before my appointment was even supposed to begin.&nbs

Wow, no way I could handle this. I walk in, go to the bathroom and as I walk out my nurse takes me back almost every time. Between nurse and ob is about 15-20 minutes but I normally bump during that time. I have seen the NP a few time

I couldn't imagine. My OB's office doesn't let you wait for longer than 20 minutes. I can say that if I make it to my appointment on time and it's a general appt, I can get in and out in under 20. I would change offices if it weren't so

Former lawyer here, I totally feel your pain. Have you considered printing out cases and deposition transcripts with you? I know I wouldn't want to try and balance a laptop on my giant belly, but maybe there's some other paperwork you can take with you?
