Carseat ?

DH and I are foster parents.  Currently we have two kids placed with us.  We just bought and house and will be opening up to take another child (5 or under).  Right now we have a FF Graco Myride 65 and a rear facing Cosco Apt Inner Circles.  Both are fairly large. The kids will probably be going home by August, but we could get kiddo #3 before then.    Obviously the age of the child would be a facter depending on what kind of seat they're in.  We would like to upgrade my car to a minivan at some point, but with the new house....  Are there any carseats that fit 3 across?  We have a Toyota Corolla and a Jeep Patriot.

    The Sunshine Radian car seats can fit three across, but only if you use three of them. In other words, I don't think you could just slip one in between the two you already have. I'm also not sure if they have backward facing options or infant seats.

    The Costco Scerena is pretty narrow and at 30 dollars or so it's totally feasible to buy 3 new ones. It's worth a shot. We have 1 Costco for an extra and we like it. It may be inexpensive, but it's still just as safe as others out there.

    The Diono radian is a really narrow seat and puzzles well next to other seats. You may be able to get it to fit in your back seat with your current seats. You would just have to try them in different positions.

    Diono Radians.  We have 2 FF radians (the R100) now, and a graco snugride in the back of our CRV.  It is cozy, but they all fit!  They can be pricey, though - I got them on amazon for around $175 (but usually over $200).  Check it out
