Saw your question below about stepstools. We were using the tall 2-step, red wooden one from Ikea for pottying but that was when he was sitting down. We also have the cheap small plastic white one from the kids section (it has blue rubbery dots on it) and he seems to prefer that one now for his new standing up trick. It's nice too b/c it's easy to clean. I do still really love the red one though b/c it's so sturdy. He still uses it for washing hands.
