I need some encouragement....

Work has become so painful. I am starting to feel sick all the time and the pain in my back and crotch is worse than ever. I am on my feet 12 hours and it takes an hour for me to drive to work. It's also at night, so my sleep schedule is awful (as if I sleep good anyway). BH's are awful while I am working. I get almost no relief. If I take a vacation day, I feel guilty and people kind of give me the cold shoulder. I took one tonight because I literally could not get out of bed. I worked last night and by the time I got home I was almost in tears. Getting in and out of my car takes forever because I don't want to feel the crotch pain associated with it.

I really don't want to start my leave, and I don't dislike my job, it's just very physical. I feel guilty for being at home and not working. Also, we are in the middle of buying a house, and since we are using my credit, I can't see how I could start my leave. I would give anything to be able to just work my days and work overtime even!  I am so frustrated and working one more day (after the horrendous pain I was in when I woke up) seems nearly impossible. ): I feel like I have hit a wall. Crying

Sorry if this post seems super whiny. I am just having a really, really bad pain day/ week.

  • I remember reading another post of yours about work and thinking to myself that girl is a trooper I would already be dead if I had her job. Is there anyway they could modify your duties for you? If that isn't an option, your a trooper and I know you can d

  • As a SAHM, you have my complete sympathy! Honestly, I don't know how you working ladies do it! Especially those of you jobs that require standing or physical labor! I get BHs just from walking and get so sick of it so I just stop! I don't know what I'd do

  • It does not hurt to talk to your boss about your pain. He/ She may appreciate you saying something so they can put you in a role or help make you feel more comfortable.

  • I know what you are saying.  With my first two pregnancies, I had an office job, where I sat at a computer all day, and could even get up and lay on the couch in the women's lounge if I wasn't feeling well.  After being a SAHM, I changed care

  • You can do it! When you look back on your pregnancy these last three weeks will seem like they flew by. You're not hurting yourself or the baby, so just hang in there and take it a day at a time. I'm sure this will be me in a couple weeks - my jobs isn

  • You poor dear!   You don't sound whiny at all just like you are in pain.  Working while pregnant is really challenging.   You are supposed to go on like a champ and act like everything is normal but seriously everything is not nor
