U/S this morning

Doc sent me to get an U/S within the next 3 weeks, the only available appointment was this morning or tomorrow morning.  I went this morning. It was exciting, but I was nervous because according to doc's estimates I was only 16 weeks, but I would get to see baby none-the-less.  We went in and she gave me crap about me coming in for anatomy U/S so early.  I explained to her that it was the only thing available.  She proceeded and told me I would be back in a few weeks because she wouldn't be able to get all th emeasurements needed.  She also measured me and gave me a new due date,, putting me a week behind what we thought.  But hey, thats ok!  She probed around some more and asked if we would like to know the sex if she could see and of course we said yes.  According to her, we are having a GIRLIE... !!!!  Yeah, just what we wanted. She showed us the hiney cheeks and pointed in the middle stating "there's nothing sticking out".  We couldn't be more estatic.  I am still going to hold off on registry until we find out at our NEXT U/S appt.
