I am planning on asking our pedi for a referral to the allergist, my daughter has reactions to so many different things and after doing elimination diets im just having a hard time pinpointing exactly what all the allergens/intolerances are.
in your experience, how does the allergy test work for a toddler? is it needles, or is it patches they put on the skin? i have heard all sorts of things, and i would really like to avoid any painful or traumatizing experiences if possible. how did your lo react to the testing? any other information would be great. thanks!

skin test with DS1 was dramatic and harrible. But it's because he has sever allergies and as soon as they poked him (which was not the bad part) he swelled up and pretty much had raw blisters on his back so they had to spray him with benadryl and
