Just need to brag a bit.

My husband's family has a little farm (60 acres and 25 head of cattle). DH does most of the work: feeds the cows, grows/cuts/puts up the hay, repairs anything that need to be repaired. All of this equals a lot of work. Now here comes the brag!
We just picked up the meat from the butcher. I now have a half a cow in my freezer. That is over 100lbs of ground beef, lots of steaks, a ton of roasts, ribs and other various parts. This will last me a year +.
I love not having to buy meat!!!!

I'm jealous. My grandparents used to have tons of cattle when I was a kid. I wish they would have kept the farm.
