nesting 101

Almost afraid to post today.... everyone seems a bit grumpy but being the rebel I am I will go for it anyway. Cool

So I do believe nesting has set in, yesterday I tore into my living room.   All but 2 of our windows tip in to be cleaned.   I got all the windows and screens washed, even took soapy water and cleaned the window seels, sills, ohh heck how ever you spell it.   Took the glass out of the door and cleaned it and washed that screen, cleaned the ceiling fan (yes I got up on a ladder *shudder*), pulled the furniture out and killed a few dust bunnies and found a few missing socks.

I then went outside and cleaned our feed/tack room and reorganized it.  After winter it always looks like a pig sty.  

I have a list of things I want to get done today as well.   LO must be dropping a bit or just repositioning himself since I am not as winded as I have been in the past... woo hoo

NOW what I learned is do NOT tell your mother you were doing so  much as in getting on a step ladder (4 steps) or moving furniture (easily done on hard wood floors).  She tried to give me the 3rd degree but I told her I did nothing that would hurt me or LO.  

There is no rhyme nor reason for this post just feeling really perky and energetic and it feels so good.

Now I am off to get some more stuff done... after I watch Maury of course, have to get my morning laugh in. Wink

    Feel free to come over and nest at my house.....lol good for you must feel great to get some spring cleaning done!!!! Maybe you'll inspire me to get cleaning this weekend.

    Every morning I wake up wanting to deep clean my house, but by the time I get home I'm too tired.  It makes me sad.  I think nesting is finally kicking in for me, too!

    Yesterday I gave our entire main floor (it's a one story house) a good vacuum and scrub down on the floors.

    Today I am sorting LO's clothes into size categories so I know what sizes I should invest a little more into!

    That was me on Saturday. I'd do more during the week, but after being away for 12+ hours  (with driving time) I'm tired and just want dinner and to sleep when I get home. Thankfully I should have about 2 weeks to get all of the nesting that I want do

    wow sounds like a bunch of us are cleaning junkies.  
    I have totes that I am putting stuff I want to get rid of in.... You would think my house is empty by as much stuff I have gotten rid of, put in totes, or thrown away.

    That was me this past Saturday.  My mom called to see if I wanted help cleaning/organizing.  I took her up on it and we out all the recycling (we have to drop it off, we don't have neighborhood pickup), took a trip to donate a ton of stuff to

    First Son - born 2013
    Second Son - born 2014 - Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome (HLHS) and Double Outlet Right Ventricle (DORV).  First open heart surgery at 5 days old.  He's had 3 open heart surgeries and several other procedures and is currently doing amazing.
    Third Son - due June 9, 2018

    I have been suppressing my nesting desires since I pretty much just want to lay down after working all day.  Last day of work today and as I'm wrapping things up, I'm making a list of all the things I want to get done, cleaning the house, washing LO'
