Any tips on moving with a toddler?

Okay, long story short, with the potential of LO#2 coming in the fall, we are planning on having a dormer done on our house to permit him or her to have a small bedroom on the same level as the other bedrooms in the house. DS' room is not really big enough for 2 cribs or beds, so this needs to be done now or in the near future...and it seems like it would be easier to do with 1 outside kiddo than 2.

For a variety of logistical reasons I won't bore you with, we need to vacate the house during construction. This means moving DS for 3-4 months to another location (yet to be determined).

He is such a tenuous daytime sleeper, and such a routine fiend, that I am starting to dread the idea of moving out even more than I already was.

Ugh.

Anyone moved with their toddler and have any tips to share?

I have not moved with a toddler, but I have done major reno with one. It's going to suck. Just know that and try to be patient. Things will always take more time and cost more money than planned. And honestly, I think it may be eas
