Graco click connect compatible with classic?

Can you use the click connect car seat in items that are for the classic and vice versa?  I can't find anything on their website.

    I was looking at reviews on the new Graco Modes stroller (which uses the click connect) and all the reviewers say that click connect is not compatible with the classic connections. You would need a different stroller and carseat base specifically designed

    No.  Classic with classic and click connect with click connect bases and strollers.
