Social stories link

Hi all,

Because of cut-backs - the OT eval got pushed back, meaning the actual OT (recommended 2 months ago) won't start for at least 2 more weeks. Her PT and SLP have been great at working with DD as a whole and have recommended social stories/picture routines many times; per a good chunk of outside time the other day along with other instances of pulling away and running outside/street safety story is a must - she doesn't get "danger" and ignores "no" (this is an age thing I am sure on the "no") so I need to make my own social story ASAP.

Any good links? She likes real people and strays from cartoon type things in books and shows - making finding apps hard. TIA.

    are you looking for apps for an ipad or phone?

    or are you looking to make it on paper?

    Our social stories have DS in photos actually doing the activity.

    Thanks all and thanks auntie - I wasn't aware of that. I haven't been offered anything yet besides suggestions during therapy; hopefully OT will help....if nothing else a better idea of what to get going on.
