Mirena removal - side effects?

Curious to know if anyone experienced anything weird after having their Mirena removed?  

I keep hearing/reading about the "mirena crash" - but I never had any hormonal side effects with the insertion.  I am hoping it will be the same the other direction!

 
EDD 1/8/10 - our sweet sunshine DD born 12/30/09
EDD 2/15/14 - Stillbirth at 21 wks 10/02/13
EDD 8/12/15 - MMC 1/12/15

    I was so happy to get it out I didn't notice anything.  But my cervix doesn't really open per se (didn't dialate even with a 10 lber knocking) so insertion was insanely painful and I never got that "its not there" feeling so I only had it a couple mo

    I did not experience any side effects from removal at all.  Here's hoping it's the same for you!  I have no heard of the "mirena crash".  lol  Also, I heard people say removing it was painful, but I didn't even know she had taken

    I had no problems after taking it out, just bleeding, which is normal. Good luck!

    I never noticed anything when I had mine taken out.  But I also didn't have any weird side effects when I had it put in.

    I didn't have any side effects but, getting pregnant and I was nervous about the actual removal for some reason but, it was nothing and actually less painful than it going in. She had me cough and it was out.

    My OB said it almost always take

    This is all good to hear - thanks!  FWIW I love the Mirena - no issues at all. I'd totally get another one at this point.

    Haha trust me that was not on purpose. We were planning on waiting to try until October/November. So, just a warning. Hope your tune up goes well today and yayy for more Babies!
