Tubes Friday: What can I expect?

Hey all,

Jack is getting his tubes on Friday, along with having his adenoids removed. The surgeon claims that he'll be cranky for an hour after he wakes up, then he'll be back to normal. For those of you who have been through this, is that the case? Will he be able to go back to school on Monday, or should I plan on taking that day off?

I'm so nervous for him. Sad

    E got them at 12 months old. She was cranky after she woke up from anesthesia. I just rocked her in the recovery room and gave her a little juice to drink. She had discharge from her ears that day. They will tell yiu what is normal. We gave her tyleno

    My girls both had tubes. Procedure is super quick, we were away from them 10, maybe 15, minutes while they put them under, placed the tubes, and woke them up. DD1 was 14 months and woke up disoriented and really sleepy, almost sad. We had to wait for a
