Birthday outfit

There are so many adorable first birthday outfits for girls, and slim pickings for boys..... I'm going nuts trying to find one for the party and then one that I like for the smash cake, and this may be the unpopular opinion, but I refuse to put DS in leggings!! (Plus, DH would kick my butt if I did!)

what are you planning on putting lo in??

I don't really want a birthday-specific outfit, but I do want him to have something new. I think we will go with an appliqued t-shirt from a local shop or maybe a new jon jon with his initials. If we do a cake smash, I'll probably put him in a bib and CD.

I'm ordering DS a onesie that has suspenders and Bowtie attached on from Etsy. Sorry I don't have a link because I'm still shopping around for te right one. I think I might keep him in the same outfit minus the pants for cake smashing.

We are going to have a nautical themed party for Jack. I found this outfit online and had to buy it for him! DH hates it, he thinks it's too girly (maybe it is), but I think he will look so adorable in it! It probably won't make it through a cake
