What makes an Ergo or Boba carrier soooo much more expensive than Bjorn or other less expensive brands? Can you carry a heavier baby? (therefore allowing you to use it longer?) Are they more comfortable? Or is it simply paying for the brand?
Everyone I know who has an Ergo thinks it's awesome. I want one. We had a higher end Bjorn and I liked it, but it was only front carry and rated to 25lbs. DH could do it that long, but it got too heavy for me to front carry at that weigh

There's a local store nearby that offers rentals. I did a google search for Maine. There are places in BoothBay and York. In not sure if either is close to you. Dh is from the Fairfield area. It is beautiful there.
