Right away DS would only take the Soothie pacifier he was given at the hospital. We had received Tommee Tippee pacifiers and Avent pacifiers and he hated them. He ended up loving MAM pacifiers. As he got a little older he would take t
Pacifiers are not a necessity and really should be avoided in the first month until BF is well established. That said, DD was a NICU baby and had a strong sucking need so we broke down and started using a paci after a week or so. We got a f
Good ole Nuks here, never tried anything else with either boy. They both used them till 18 mo. (by then it was just for bed or a long car ride). Then we snipped the end off a little more each day and told them they were broken - they never wanted them
I was dumb and bought Soothies in all sizes because that's what most of my friends and family's babies preferred. Luckily I had a freebie Nuk that I kept because he hates the Soothies. He also hates the Avent pacis. Nuk all the way for him.

I've had no problems bfing any of my girls, and we've used pacifiers from the start with all three. Soothies were the favorites in the beginning. After that, DD1 chose to suck her thumb, and DD2 chose the MAM pacifiers. I have a variety for DD3 Soothies,

We love our Wubbanubs they are more expensive but they were the only thing my daughter loved. I find them on Amazon and I think BRU is slowly starting to carry them. I bought five of them for this new little girl since I take them everywhere a
My son loved the MAM pacifiers the best. He'd use his Wubbanub on and off. We started with them within a week of birth and he had no issues with nipple confusion.
LOVE Wubbanub is the greatest invention ever! (or close to it!). We used them from day 1 with DD#2 (we were afraid of "nipple confusion" with DD#1, so waited a few days), but we had no issues at all.

We use Soothies and Gumdrops.
Why I chose those: They are all 1 piece so they can't come apart and they have a round nipple instead of flat.

Our little guy used MAM orthodontic silicone pacifiers which do not contain BPA, PVC, Phthalate, Lead or softening agents.
