Or does it seem like everyone's LO's are talking a lot? DS just turned 15 months Saturday but he really just says "hi" "mama" and "dada" he has tried to say "I'm gonna get you" or "yay" but he babbles and I can't really understand what he says most of the time. He might be saying words but I have no clue! Is it just me or is this normal? I haven't been around kids that much and he's my first so I don't know if it's baby talk that I don't get or what.

We have "mama" "da-de" "ay-en" (aiden) "be-ya" (bella) "pizza" "mickey" (as in mouse)

he tries Grandma and Grandpa a little and I think he's moving faster than his brother did with language skills.

I think every Mom worries but really, as long as they're trying to communicate is the important thing.. That said, DS doesn't have the words but that kid I swear is catching on to some things FAR FAR ear

My kid is speaking French and Spanish as well as has a full English vocabulary.

JUST KIDDING!

He has a few basics down - Mama, Dadda, Boo (for Boomer our dog) and More but that's about it!

DS only says mama and more, sometimes mi for milk. He understands a lot and always wants me to repeat words while he stares at my lips, but so far he doesn't really have many words. Some kids just start to speak later :-)

Ana doesn't talk but she understands just about everything we tell her. She can sign a few things: more, milk, hungry, bath, night night, all done (which is her favorite).

I'm right there with you! DD says a few coherent words but everything else is constant babbling and usually unintelligible. Although, she has been pretty much imitating everything we say but it usually just comes out in a one syllable sound.&n
