Our friends gave us a crib that they were done with so I didn't think we had to buy one. Well, today I went to put it together and I thought, "I'll just double check online to make sure it's not recalled." Of course, it was! Now we need a new crib pronto because DS is almost too big for his cradle. Does anyone have a cheap one that they like? TIA!
We have the Dakota crib in Espresso from Burlington Coat Factory and I love it. It was easy to put together and it's super sturdy and looks great. It's about $300.
Totally happy with our Graco Lauren - I can tell it's not as high quality as the Sorelle that we had for our son but I have no questions that it's safe and it looks nice. Paid maybe $150. (after DS chewed not just the top rail but the side slats of his crib we didn't want to spend a lot this time)
We also have an ikea crib. the sundvik. I like that two sides are solid so he's less likely to put his arms out on those sides and it feels a bit sturdier then the gulliver IMO

I have a Graco crib too, forget if it's Lauren or another one. But it was highly rated on consumer reports, cheap, and I got free shipping right to walmart.
I have the Stork Craft Monza II - got it on amazon for around $200. It's modern-ish, and if you're on the short-end like me - it's a little shorter than most cribs (makes much easier on your back!!)
Did you have to preorder it in the store? Because i called them and the lady i spoke with said it would take 90 days to ship im not sure if thats right or not because most of the cribs online ship within 47 days.

Re: Recommend your inexpensive crib
What price range do you consider inexpensive?

My parents have the Graco Sarah crib for when grandbabies are over. They got it on sale at BRU.

Same here. I also like that it is made of solid wood except for the platform.
Ditto. The crib is totally solid.
this is the one I have and it's also available at walmart
Tritto. We love it.
