Sex after having membranes stripped?

It didnt dawn on me to ask my OB this at my appt, but does anyone know if there is any problem with having sex the same day as having your membranes stripped? My gut tells me no but I was just curious if anyone else has ran into this?

    I just had my membranes stripped today and I specifically asked my OB if I could have sex and she said YES.  I'm however turning DH down because my cervix is pretty sore.

    I think the only issue is having sex after your water breaks. My midwife suggested sex after attempting to strip my membranes.

    I was too uncomfortable afterwards between contractions and general pregnancy blah to have sex. As long as your water hasn't broken though, you can have sex all you want. Get that prostaglanin going anyway you can. lol

    I had my membranes stripped today also. OB said if I was up to it that sex was fine.
