I had my first ultrasound today and I really wasn't expecting to see anything yet, but we had a yolk sac! I measured right at 5 weeks, which is right on track. My doctor said we aren't out of the woods yet but so far so good. I go back on Tuesday to look for a fetal pole and see if I am progressing. I was so excited to see the yolk sac today. It felt like Christmas. We never got to see one last time so already things are better than before. I'm a nervous wreck but I'm going to stay positive and hopeful!!! Grow little appleseed, grow!!!
Me:41, DH:41 Positive for MTHFR mutations- one copy C677T, one copy A1298C. One daughter born on Thanksgiving in 2013. Six losses.

Over-40 parents...what we lack in vigor, we make up for with cunning.
Yay!!!!! Good thoughts to you!!!!! I'm 38, 5 weeks and change, with baby #1 after a loss 8 mos ago. So I know all about being a nervous wreck...here's to us and our appleseeds!!!!! Sending you lots of good wishes!!!
