Special Needs

intro update

I have posted a handful of times over the past few months and will probably have more to post about now.

I have three children. My oldest is now 21 and had an IEP from 4th grade to 11th grade due to complex partial seizures that she outgrew as far as we can tell.

Ds1 is 16 and he has Aspergers. He has had an IEP for ST in kindergarten to 2nd grade and for the Aspergers since 6th grade. My ex forbid testing for the Aspergers so he was not diagnosed until after my divorce during his 5th grade year. He has been doing well enough in his current school that he does not need sped support.

My youngest, ds2, was born 3weeks ago with down syndrome. This will be my first time dealing with IFSPs.

I look forward to getting to know the regulars here.
