Diaper Suggestions?

Hi all.

My LO is 3.5 months, born on 12/28. She's a big girl for her age, so we have had to "size up" in diapers. We've always used Pampers brand. She's currently in Pamper's Baby Dry size 3.

We're having issues with "shitastrophies," whereby the poo escapes upward out the top of the diaper in the back. It's no fun. If I go down a size in diaper, they cut into her legs something awful.

Last night, we had another issue... she went to bed at around 9pm, and started fussing around midnight, which is early for her to wake up to feed. I reached over to settle her, and she was soaked. Not sure what the heck happened, as I checked the diaper well: no bunching, no folding, no rolling around the legs... but the pee was everywhere BUT the diaper.

Looking for suggestions for diapers you love (disposable), especially if you have a baby with chunky legs.

My little girl is the same age as yours and weighs a little under 19lbs. We are using pampers swaddlers size 2 during the day and size 2 baby dry at night.We will be switching to size 3 soon Every once in awhile she will have a pooplosion in the swaddlers

Have you tried the Pampers Swaddlers? They keep DD dry for the 12 hours she STTN and that's even after an 8 oz bottle. Also are you making sure the ruffles are pulled out sound her legs and waist up on the back? I didn't care too much for Pampers ba

I love swaddlers too and did not care for baby dry. I am so thrilled that they make these in size 4 and 5 now for when LO gets bigger.

I used pampers with dd but they always leaked so I switched to huggies because of the elastic on the back! They work great for us!

We love swaddlers!! He have blowouts but its always the position she is sitting in that causes it to go up the back. We also like to use baby dry at night, but haven't in a month. Swaddlers are holding in the pee for her sttn of 10 hours.
