Awkward Co-Worker came up to me last week. He wanted to complain about how his wife was stressing him out with her going back to work coming up and how their mornings were going to play out. "I keep telling her it'll be fine - Why isn't that good enough for her? - I mean, how hard can it be?" And so on. I tried to explain to him that doing it all under a fixed schedule wasn't as easy as he thought, but he wouldn't have any of it "What? You think I'm incapable?"

Anyhoo, his wife's first day back in the office was yesterday. HE ended up 20 minutes late to work. So much for "How hard can it be". Ha.

Hilarious!

My husband is the same way. He doesn't want to talk through logistics, he always thinks everything will turn out just fine. And then he's late and frazzled. LOL.

As someone who's often on both sides of that argument depending on how I'm feeling at the time, I can say with certainty that crossing the bridge when I get to it usually yields poorer results than having a game plan. Just saying, Awkward Coworker.&
