BB: What are the best mattresses?

Can someone with recent edition of Baby Bargains book tell me what mattresses are recommended?  For DD1 we got the Midnight Slumber something (forgot the name) and have been very happy with it but it sure was pricey.

    We bought ours from Costco.  It was important to me to have one that was Pthalate free.  I think its a Soy 2-1.  But cant remember the brand.
