I only want one, but DH wants more.  Anyone here dealing with that?

 A bit about me - DD is 6 1/2 months old and so sweet and wonderful.  I got pregnant after 2 years and 11 months of trying everything under the sun besides IUI and IVF.  DH has "pro-swimmers" according to the urologist we went to for him.  I was only diagnosed with a Y shaped uterus.  So, really no explanation for our apparent infertility.  Anyway, trying for so long and that many months of hoping and then being utterly depressed with every BFN has turned me into a one and done.  I always thought I would have 2 to 4, but I am no longer interested in that.  My pregnancy wasn't rough by many standards, but it definitely wasn't easy.  Anyway, as I mentioned before I am pretty positive I am done.  DH on the other hand would love to be TTC right now.  Any advice on how to deal with this?

    I'm sorry, I don't have much advice.. I've never dealt with that, as DH and I have always been on the same page with wanting just one.  I imagine that's a super tough spot to be in, though, and all I can suggest is talk, talk, talk and communicate

    Welcome!

    Have you explained your feelings to him in the very clear way you did here?  Sometimes it is much easier to state your case and pour your heart out to strangers online than it is to do with your loved ones.

    Thanks ladies!  I have tried explaining it to DH, but he just doesn't understand.  He had one instance of major depression/ disappointment while we were trying.  I don't think guys get their hopes up like we do every month.  Anyway, we
