FIL came over this AM to watch DD while I needed to work the first half of the day (same one who will not take his dirty shoes off in my house because his arthritis hurts too much...his shoes are gross and I have new carpet. He also steps on DD's toys with them that she puts in her mouth!). I get home at 1:40ish and she JUST went down for her FIRST nap!!! She was up since 7am. SMH...at least they dont watch her all the time. I was supposed to run 100 errands this afternoon and now it looks like I will be playing on the bump while DD naps for 5 hours :-p

    I understand arthritis sucks and I am not down playing his pain - its just the rude part of stepping on her toys with dirty shoes...

    What about using those throw away sneaker covers? Then his dirty shoes aren't touching the floor and toys and he won't have to take off his shoes.
