Pregnant after 35

Due December 1st and Intro :)

Hi ladies!  I haven't jumped on this board yet, just the first tri and december 2013. Congrats to you all here!  I had my first son right out of high school.  After divorcing his Dad 5 years later, I was a single Mom for 9 years (which I cherish as my son and I are so close now). I had to wait for the right man (my DH now) to grow my family. We've been married 3 years. I'm 36 and 5 weeks along with #3. :D

I have a 16 month old (my entire world right now) baby boy who's sound asleep for nap now.  I'm dealing with the "I don't want him to have to share Mommy" feelings but overall we're so excited and know that he'll be happy with the gift of a new sibling and friend for life.  I hope they are the best of friends.  I'm curious to know if there are any others out there with such large age gaps as we have? Is anyone else dealing with the "will I have enough love for two that are just 2 years apart at at the same time" feelings? I know we will, but I am continuing to savor every minute with my lil man until baby comes along.  Hope you're all healthy and happy Mama's!

  • Welcome!  I think you'll find a nice group of ladies here. And I think at least a couple have larger gaps between children here. Hopefully you find support and maybe some humor here while we all go through this together.

    Congratulation
