I am reading about how it seems everyone is planning on having their LO in their room for the first few months. I am not. I have a pack and play so things could change, but is anyone else going to start with LO in their own room?
I was adamantly against having DD in our room prior to giving birth, but changed my mind for two reasons. One, it was easier for feedings after a c/s in my opinion. And two, she had reflux so I wanted to keep a close eye on her rando
DD will be in our room in the bassinet for the first 3-4 months, at least. I won't move her into her own room until she's only waking once at night to eat.
DS was in his room from day one, but I could see his crib from my bed so he was practically in my room. I'm in a different house now so I haven't decided.
Before DS was born it never occurred to me to keep him in our room. But when they wake up every 2-3 hours all night long it just becomes a pain in the butt to schlep across the hallway to get them so you can feed them. Having him in a bassinet right
I think it's just personal choice. I know for us breast feeding mamas it's way convienent until a schedule is determined. Also, I found w DD the first month or so I would wake up in a panic and rush over to her to make sure she was ok. It's just comfortin
we are planning on having the baby in her own room from day 1. I would honestly like to have her in our room for the first 2-3 weeks as I am breastfeeding and I think I'll be annoyed walking over to her room, but we'll see how it goes and maybe I ca
We put DS in his room since day 1 and it worked great for us. We will do the same this time around and hope it works out again. If not we have the pack and play.
We are planning on having the baby in her own room right away. I want her to get used to being in her own room, and not used to our room or sleeping in the pack and play. Our bedroom is like six steps from the nursery so I am not too concerned about it.
I plan on LO being in our room for the first 6-8 weeks. More for my convenience. The nursery is on the first floor and our bedroom is on the second floor. So at first it will be easier
We weren't sure with DS what we were going to do but having him in our room was the right choice. It made life so much easier. He was in our room for a very long time. I was concerned about his transition to his own room eventually, but it went really smo
DS was in his own room from night one and this one will be too. Me and DH just like our room to be "ours". It's our only baby/kid free space and that's important to us. I am a SAHM and don't mind going into the baby's room to nurse throughout the night.

We are having this child sleep with us. DS is 13 months old and still in our room. It's what works for our family. Cosleeping [having child in your room] has been proven to reduce SIDS, plus it is much easier and less disruptive to my sleep to BF if he's
