Testing?

Anyone done or going to do amniocentesis and CVS testing? Have you honestly considered what you will do if tests reveal something bad? I am 7w2d and will do the tests. I am so torn and worried about this.

    I haven't done those tests, but was curious why you are already planning to do them?  Do you have a history of genetic issues in your family?  There are some non-invasive alternatives you could do such as the quad screen or MaterniT21.  If

    If I had been pg with a singleton I would have just started with the quad screen/NT scan and then only done an invasive test if the others showed problems. Since I am having twins, I felt more comfortable going with the amnio to get results that I know ar

    I did cvs at 10w5days with a very experienced doctor in LA. I got results in 5 days and am relieved that everything is normal. It was a little more than a Pap smear and well worth the peace of mind. You need to go to an expert for cvs.
