I got called a b!tch today on the Baby Shower Board! I mean, I'm no softie....but a b!tch? Not quite lady.

    Wow $600 baby shower!!! That is insane I think I only have about $600-$800 worth of stuff on my register.

    It really just grinds my gears when people try to spend other people's money. Just makes me mad. And a $600 shower is way high, but a restaurant shower costs more. Also, it does not cost more to make your own food than to have it catered. Blergh.

    This. We wound up scheduling my shower at a nearby bar/restaurant, since I live in a tiny NYC apartment (as do my friends), and my family lives in MA. But $100 per person? That is INSANE, price-wise. I think we wound up at about $40 per person for brun
