Last time we saw the pedi, she told me that I can start giving B some reallllly watered down juice. What kind of juice? Baby juice? apple juice? I am kind of weird about him getting too much sugar so I am conflicted.
I personally will not be giving juice and I didn't with DS either. I'm not sure why'd they even need it this young and I can't imagine my doc suggesting it this young.
we only give L juice in the morning with his medicine for reflux because it was recommended bc apple juice is acidic and prevacid apparently works better mixed with that instead of formula.
Pedi said we *could* give Alice juice, but not to feel like we NEED to. She said it's nothing but sugar, and there's no real redeeming quality in normal circumstances. That said, any 100% pure juice that is extremely watered down is fine.
After 7 years of no ovulation... BFP#1 10/24/11 ~ EDD 6/29/12 ~ Natural m/c 11/2/11 BFP#2 2/3/12 ~ Alice born 9/26/12
Interesting how different the pediatrician's advice can be... My pedi said no juice unless for some medical reason like constipation, etc. We don't even give juice to my 2 year old. He gets water or milk, that's it. I don't thin
