how many of you ladies will wax or shav prior to delivering? i always thought i would be one to take care of the situation but honestly waxing hurts way too much and its very hard to shave ( since i cant see). Am i the only one who is not sure what to do ?lol

I'm still just shaving as I regularly do. Been doing it for so long that I can do it with my eyes closed.. so the bump hasn't been much of a convenience as far as seeing goes.

Check, Most hospitals request you do
not shave right before. It can lead to infection or other issues.

I've been using veet bikini line the whole pg and it's so much easier than trying to shave blindly.

Last pg I shaved right before leaving for the hospital.

I honestly don't give two craps. Whoever delivers me has undoubtedly seen it all. I'm not playing the contortionist for vanity's sake, lol. Besides, there's going to be a baby coming out of there. Have you SEEN what that looks like

I dont care what I look like for others during delivery but I live in Florida and things get hot here and I've always felt cleaner groomed. I figure I want to take care of things before I deliver considering things might be messy and swollen for a while

I haven't shaved for last two checks so I don't see the point for delivery..I'm sure not everyone does and dr have seen it all..I don't have the energy to try and maneuver around the belly lol

I wanted it all trimmed up before hand so there is less of a mess to care for after. I gave DH a pair of clippers and had him go at it. I see no reason for me to risk cutting something one of us may want to use again when he has hands and eyes

I could care less about aesthetics, but I shaved some right before going in. The results were definitely not pretty, since I couldn't really see. But I was so glad I did, and in fact wished I had gone totally bare just because there's enough hygiene stuff
