Formula mamas - thoughts on generic formula?

Ladies who EFF - what are your thoughts on Target brand and Walmart brand formula? They are significantly less expensive, and one or two people have told me that they are just as good as similac or enfamil. What has your experience been? I am trying to get a realistic concept of budgeting. Thanks for your help!

I tried the Target Up & Up version of Sensitive for Spit-up formula, and I hated it. It was harder to get the clumps out, and DS had really runny stool for a week until we switched him back to Similac. I try to keep an eye out for the deals at Target

I also asked our doctor about the generic formula and she said it was perfectly fine to use it.  BUt it all really depends on what your baby will tolerate.  We also had to switch to the "sensitive" formula and Enfamil brand did not agree with hi

We've been using the SAM's brand since pretty early on, with no problems.  The main thing is not to switch back and forth between brands.  I had some samples of Enfamil and Similac I wanted to use, but DD had some issues when switching cold turk

I BF all three of mine for six months and then switched to formula.  I used Target for all three of them.  I never had any problems with getting out the clumps and all three had no digestive issues.  All formula is highly regulated by th

The only thing I didn't like about the Target brand formula is that it was definitely harder to get the clumps out. Other than that, nutritionally speaking, it is extremely similar to Enfamil. I used it for a while and my baby was fine with it. The clumps

When we switched to formula around 5.5 months the only thing he'd drink was Target brand.  So after trying everything under the sun we stuck with it.  Formula tastes like shiit either way.

We use Target brand Similac. I have seen no difference at all. Pedi said it was just as good.

We have often used the Walmart brand of both Similac Sensitive and Gerber Soothe and found them to be comparable in quality and taste (yes, I tasted it).  The only difference I can see is that the WM brand of Similac is sort of gritty no matter how m
