If your LO had a food allergy, how did they test for it? Can they do blood work for food allergies or is it pretty much process of elimination?
(My friend's LO has been battling hives / excema / allergic reaction and since he's EBF, she thinks it may be a dietary allergy. She has tried LITERALLY everything else you may think of as far as special creams / lotions / coconut oil / changing detergents, etc). She has cut out dairy here and there but I don't think she has lasted more than a week each time she tries that.
Her Pedi and Dermatologist are not much help - the derm is having her use a cortisone cream, which is treating the symptoms but not solving the issue. Plus she's not keen on using a ton of steroid cream all the time over his whole body.

I'm sorry she's dealing with this. It must be rough to not know how to he
