  At 2, our pedi told us to start with Flinestone's Complete Vitamin (1/2 a pill a day).  She loves it.

  We use Rainbow Light's Nutristart Multivitamin Powder.  I just mix it in DD's applesauce or yogurt and she's good to go.

  Half a flinstone's vitamin. It has iron, unlike gummy vitamins.

  We use rainbow light powder too... Has probiotics in it too.

  Should I be giving LO vitamins? I thought his pedi said vitamins shouldn't be necessary (depending on diet) but seeing that it, is perhaps commonplace makes me wondered I should ask again?

  My pedi also said our kids, ages 1 and 2.5, don't need vitamin supplements.
  
  However, when we lived in Israel the pedi did recommend we give DS vitamins and we did so from some months old until a year.
