Niece is sometimes referred to as Alexandra, but they usually call her Lexi. I think the original plan was to call her Alex, but I don't know what happened with that.
DD#2 is an Alexandra. If she's misbehaving or I am trying to get her attention, its Alexandra or the full Alexandra Haven (her mn). Otherwise, we call her Alex most of the time, sometimes Lexi comes out and more recently we have called her Ali

My brother's girlfriend is Alexandria, and she goes by Alex. Allie/Ally and Lexi are also common nicknames. I love the name Alexandra, I think there are a lot of options to shorten it.
One of my best friends in elementary school was an Alexandra who everyone called Chickie. I also knew one who went by Alex, and another who went by Andie who went to my high school. A lady I worked with named Alexandra called herself Dee Dee.

I know quite a few and they all have different nicknames.
The ones I know off my head are: Annie, Alex, Lexi, Alexa, Andi, Ali, Drea.
