Back from India -but still on a break

I returned from India last week, but I am just now getting over my jet lag. Looks like there are a bunch of new ladies on here since my 2 months off.

The EDD of the baby I lost last August passed while I was in India on business, so I didn't really get upset until I got home. Now DH and I are deciding whether we want to give it one more try (we only have one more IUI left before IVF and we aren't able to afford that since we are OOP) or just move on as a family of three.

I'm 38 and DH is 40. We are going to give it a few more months to decide (and save up since we have taxes to pay now). Honestly, after trying for over a year with the RE and having a late first tri loss, we are tired mentally and physically. And even if we try again, it doesn't mean we will be successful. I'm not sure I want to go down that road again. I pray everyday that God will show me his plan for our family and to know in my heart whether we should try again.

Trying to decide whether to try again after a break is much harder than I ever expected.

I hope there have been successes while I have been away. I'll try to catch up on everything.

Welcome back. I had just joined when you were leaving to go to India, but I do remember you. I'm 41 and also struggling with how much longer to keep trying. We will try for at least a couple more months, then regroup and go from
