Stranger Anxiety

Anyone seen stranger anxiety in their LOs yet?  DD definitely has it... and I don't know what to do!  Is there anything you can do?  Or just wait for them to outgrow it?

I went to the mom's group at our church today, left her in the nursery, she screamed after I left the room and I got a text 5-10 minutes later telling me to come get her.  I brought her with me to the mom's group and she was an angel.  Like... I was in disbelief of how well she "behaved".  She sat in my lap *happily* for 2 hours.  She never lets me sit down with her, ever!  This is not her first display of stranger anxiety.  Bah!

    I haven't but I feel like we may bypass it

    between going to daycare and living in a big city, he's getting exposed to so many people.

    He chats w people on the subway, I kid you not.

    I do think it's a phase though and it will pass. &

    Alice is starting this.  She loves chatting with people as long as I'm holding her.  If they try to hold her though, that's not ok with her.  She does, however, have seperation anxiety.  She loses her sh!t when she realizes I'm gone.&n

    My LO has it. She is okay with people visiting our home and fine at the small daycare we have her in... but when we take her to larger family/friend gatherings she freaks as soon as someone takes her from me. I say takes because most of DH's family does n

    Brant is content to laugh and talk with anyone as long as I am holding him. MH has a huge family and they all like to pass him around and he literally falls apart until I come get him. I take him and he is instantly better.

    O doesn't cry with strangers or other people, she just looks for me if someone else is holding her. And if it's a bunch of people in her face at once that age doesn't know, she gets upset until she's in my arms.
