Constant Nausea

Hey Ladies,

So I am 6 weeks and 4 days and I have constant looming nausea.  I'm so uncomfortable and its extremely distracting for me at work. Im not actually getting sick just constant severe nausea (like I feel like I could get sick at any moment but it never happens, I would honestly rather get sick to at least feel some relief). I've been eating small frequent meals, I've been drinking ginger tea, and plenty of water but nothing seems to be easing the nausea.

I have a strange comfort in the nausea, as I had a lost last year at 12 weeks, and strong symptoms give me a weird comfort that everything is working. But even with that in mind Im having a hard time toughing this out.

 Any suggestions ladies? Thanks!

  • I feel the same as you. Not getting sick. Just constantly feeling queezy. Smells and thinking of food makes my stomach turn. I agree with you. It does kind of reassure me that there's something in there : I've been having a lot of smoothies and saltines a
  • Apples help for me, and my sister swears by them.  If I get enough calories, I feel a lot better. Not always that easy when you feel like you won't be able to keep anything down! But worth a try.

  • If nothing seems to be helping you can call your doctors office and they will probably fill an Zofran script over the phone. Mine did that the last time and this time they just filled it the minute I called to make my appointment, saying its better t

I had some light nausea here and there last week and than last Thursday, Friday, Saturday I got sick in the morning (right after I took my vitamin each day so I have since switched to taking my pre-natals in the evening)

Trust me, actually vomiting will not make you feel any better.  My throat is sore doing it and
  • I've tried it all--saltines, ginger snaps, ginger candy, ginger ale, lemonade, cold fruit bars, etc...nothing was helping the severe nausea.  I got a prescription for Zofran which has been a tremendous help--the only thing is, it gives me near mig
