So last night we took away the PNP and told her that she needed to sleep in her big girl bed. I think because I had a plan and was prepared for the worst that I felt in control and ready to conquer! Put her down like normal and as soon as I shut the door I kept an eye on her with a video monitor. As soon as she got out of bed and started to walk to the door I'd open it, turn here around, get her in bed and cover her up, then leave. She did this 10 times or so in a row (I think I lost count after awhile) and in 10 min she gave up and was asleep. I never spoke to her or anything. She still got up at 2am but I did the same thing and it only took one time and she was back to sleep! It was amazing. That super nanny really knows her stuff! lol
Here's praying that tonight goes just as well. I'm determined to be more stubborn than her!
Re: Toddler Bed troubles - update!
That's awesome!
Stay strong and stubborn. And don't get discouraged if one night this week it gets bad. After kids accept something new they sometimes revert back to test it to see if it really sticks.
