Great talk with BM!

I had the best talk with BM over the weekend.  We talked for hours about all kinds of stuff.  I tried to give her my (and DH's) point of view about alot of things that she may not have understood before.  I also told her, multiple times, that I do respect her as SD's mom and I would never, never try to replace her or be more important than her.  She was really grateful to hear it.

So for the time being we are on the same page.  It's really nice to not be arguing all the time.  I hope it lasts.

    That's awesome. Hope it works out and lasts for awhile. The constant fighting gets old fast.

    Glad it went well!  As I have never met BM, I don't see this in my future.  She and DH only speak when there is a real emergency (not someone in the ER, someone in the ER who the doctors say belongs there).  Any other convo devolves into he

    That's great. It's nice to hear things like that. I doubt my son's SM would ever call me considering she refuses to meet me.
