Now We're Talking!!

Yeah, me and my boy talk now.  we have two main lines of communication going right now.

"Blah-blah", while he chews on his wrist, began a few weeks back. We have gone back and forth on that for some time now.

This past weekend, he added a new word to our special language, and it was "da-da". Now, he won't stop saying "da-da, da-da.....da-da, da-da"

At first we kind of dismissed it as pure luck and chance.  But now, it is very clear that he is directing that to me, or about me when I am not there.

So, yeah....we talk it out now!

    I'm jealous! My son thinks "Ma-ma" is the correct response to just about any situation. Sometimes just squealing vowels, sometimes pfffft, but primarily. MA! Mmmmmma-ma. Not so interested in "da".
