Pro/cons of team green

Starting to think about not knowing the gender. What are the pros and cons? This is our first baby. I debated between finding out with this baby but not with future babies. Thoughts?

    I think the pro's are... If this is your first, for the baby shower people won't buy clothes but things you need. If your cousin was going to spend 50 on a gift and only spent 30 if u know the gender your probably going to get some clothes, if you don't k

    I'm thinking about keeping big items neutral anyway. We've picked mostly teal/turquoise items. For future use. I'm not worried about people's opinions on names because ill tell them straight up its not their kid lol I don't think anyone will hassle us abo

    Here are a couple pros and cons for me personally (I'm team green). I absolutely do not care if other people find out the sex before birth - to each her own! These are simply factors for me.The pros have outweighed the con for me.

    I found out last time. I registered for all gender neutral items and aside a from a handful of outfits, nobody bought anything that was super girly. Quite frankly, most people bought practical items so I guess that really depends on your group of frien

    Con: harder to plan imo, people bug you more, you get a lot of gender neutral stuff which is often nms

    I'm starting my registry now, with gender neutral colors. I'll get all the big stuff picked out before we find out the sex. I'll add some small pink things later if we find out its a girl. Most of the stuff I like right now is gender neutral, anyways. <b

    I think everyone has already made a lot of really valid points, but I have another con to add.  Our OB brought this up yesterday and said if you have your heart set on one sex or the other, it's better to find out ahead of time.  My brother w

    I also forgot to add that DH's friends just had a baby girl when they were assured during multiple u/s that the baby was a boy.  The baby had a club foot and apparently that messed up the reading.  Anyway, they had all boy things and a "boy" nur

    My friends who did not find out for their first said you get much better shower gifts if you do not know. You get real necessities versus alot more clothes. Who knows. I am for either one, I see both sides but for me there is no way. We are finding out

    IUI #4 cancelled due to only one egg responding 
    IUI#5 cancelled on CD 10,  (3) follicules were still very small even on 300 IU's of Follistim. Also found fluid in my uterus from C-section scar

    Thank you everyone for your input! We will probably find out this one and keep the next one a surprise. He wants to be alot more prepared than having to rush around afterwards when we have company in town
